The Parish Church of Cirencester is now accepting contactless donations as a result of Charity Point contactless giving terminals.

Introducing contactless collection plates ensures that churches keep up with the ever-growing trend of ‘cashless’ payments and continue to receive vital donations. This technology allows for people who previously weren’t able to give, perhaps due to not carrying any cash with them, to now have the opportunity to make a donation. Data has actually revealed that churches who turn to contactless technology for their collection plates are bringing in 97 percent more donations.

The Parish of Cirencester consists of three Anglican churches, the Parish Church of St John Baptist, Holy Trinity Church, Watermoor and St Lawrence Church Centre, Chesterton, and is also part of the wider circle of churches in the area which make up Churches Together in Cirencester. Recently, the Parish has been raising money to help renovate the Parish Church and help to maintain the buildings.
